There is no three, without four - they say in Italy. The QLASH Hearthstone Pro Team is enriched with the entry of Jolanda ‘Yocto94’ Murra, to complete a roster already formed by captain Luca ‘Bertels’ Bertelli, Federica ‘MaeveDonovan’ Campana and Vladislav ‘GeneraL’ Spirin.

Born in 1994, Jolanda is a Hearthstone pro player born in Gallipoli but currently engaged in completing her medical studies in Rome. Already qualified for the Hearthstone Masters in Las Vegas, Yocto94 made her QLASH debut in the double qualifier of The Br4wl at the Comicon in Naples.

Yocto… but not that yocto

To explain the origin of her nickname, forged among the benches of the University with friends who are passionate about Physics, we must necessarily make use of the help of Wikipedia: Yocto (symbol y) is a unit prefix in the metric system denoting a factor of 10−24 or 0.000000000000000000000001. It was adopted in 1991 by the General Conference on Weights and Measures. It comes from the Latin/Greek octo (οκτώ), meaning "eight", because it is equal to 1000−8. Yocto- is the smallest official SI prefix”.

But don't be fooled by appearances, because despite the meaning of her nickname, and despite her minute appearance, her gentle look and her sweet voice, Yocto94 has only one mission in mind: winning.

"I am a very private person", she said, "but this does not mean that I have no ambition, far from it. For me, entering QLASH is the result of a path of growth during which I have worked so hard and hard, but a path that is far from being completed".

Girl Power!

With the entry of Yocto94, the QLASH Hearthstone Team Pro can boast in its roster two of the strongest female Hearthstone players not only in Italy, but in Europe and perhaps also in the world. With MaeveDonovan, Yocto94 forms a formidable pairing for any opponent.

"But the fact that she's a girl really wasn't a discriminating factor at all", said Alessandro Sirbone, Head of Competitive at QLASH. "Along with the Hearthstone Game Manager Claudio Poggi and captain Luca Bertelli, we’d been following her for a long time: we were struck by her attitude to work and her mindset. We believe she still has so many untapped potential and we hope she can grow further with us".
