The QLASH brand will soon be expanding its presence to the island nation of Malta, with the intention to grow a local community and fan base as well as scout local talent that can later become part of the QLASH competitive esports family.

Malta is currently the European capital of iGaming, hosting a never ending list of iGaming companies operating from within its territory. It is one of the countries with the most innovative friendly policies and high-tech industry companies are flocking to become part of the vibrant work environment. One of those industries which is growing at an astonishing rate is esports.

The pro esports government is in the process of laying the right fundamentals for esports organisations like QLASH to operate and flourish from within its shores. This has allowed Malta to build an efficient and functional infrastructural backbone, that together with the island’s warm climate and proximity to Europe has attracted the interest of QLASH and we are happy to announce our first steps into the market.

Go Malta Esports Festival

Our first initiative on the island will be hosted in collaboration with gamers.com.mt, the local major esports event organizer with a long history of growth and success. Through this partnership QLASH will sponsor an area within the Go Malta Esports festival being held between 7 and 9 December 2018 in the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre. During the event we will organize a number of FIFA19 and Clash Royale events, some of which will be competitive in nature and others just for fun. The events will be intended for local esports enthusiasts, where players can enjoy competing in a serious live event or taking some advice and tips from some of the QLASH Team Pro members.

Our plans for Malta definitely do not stop here, together with gamers.com.mt and in the future other local esports organisations plans are already being laid for an exciting 2019. Local events, international events, bootcamps, stream casts, meetups and much more will be held in this marvelous Mediterranean island, so we are looking forward to some exciting times ahead.
