League Rules and Format

Teams consist of 5 main roster (1 of which can be non-EU) and up to 5 subs if needed.  Only players put on official roster by the time of their qualification will be counted for that team.  No substitutes outside of stated roster.

Players must be 16 + at time of live finals (May 4-6, 2018) and have ability to travel freely inside EU, in the unlikely event that the finals location changes to elsewhere in Europe.

EU player is defined as people from the greater EU region. See this map for borders.

Each match consists of at least five players for each team that will face King of the Hill mode.
When all of one team has been eliminated, one player can be revived. The team who eliminates the opposition, wins the set.

The team with best of 3 sets wins the match.

The team captain or any authorized teammate is required to send the roster and the player's sequence through a direct message to Discord to the game administrator or to the administrator's representative.

If there is a tie, the players play again and can change decks.  The second tie will end in a decision based on the player who has made the most damage to an opposing tower.

In event of disconnection, there will not be a rematch.

At least five players must be present on the day of the match. The player can leave the designated QL clan as soon as the match is over.
There will be moderators in the QL clan to ensure that the match proceeds smoothly and fairly. Please follow their instructions at all times.

Qualification #1

After the pre-registration period (the number of qualifying limits will be 40 teams), Pre-Qualifiers will begin. During this phase, five different custom tournaments created in 5 different predetermined clans will be used to evaluate the skill level of team players.
Each team will register five players (including their player tag) to represent their team, these five players will be randomly dealt in five different tournaments that will take place simultaneously.
For each tournament, participants will be divided into several groups. Each group will have 15 minutes to join our pre-qualifying clan in a predetermined time band. So, they will have to join the tournament before the time zone finishes. All participants will be expelled from the clan once the time limit is reached. If a participant skips his time, he informs the QRL administrator through Discord and will be "directed" towards the next available time zone.
Each participant will be assigned a randomly generated password to use as a request to join the clan to enter. Passwords will be sent to the team captain and then delivered to the participating players representing their respective teams.
Each player will be assigned a score based on their placement in the tournament. Example: In the five tournaments a team with its players is finished in 1st, 5th, 9th, 10th, 15th position, their cumulative score will be 40. LOWER CUMULATIVE SCORE IS THE BEST SCORE.
The 10 teams with the lowest overall team score will advance to the next qualification.

Qualification #2

The top 10 teams from qualification #1 compete with the 10 invited teams in same qualifying format.  Five players, competing in five different tournaments (see Qualification #1).

Top 8 teams with lowest cumulative score will advance to league.
